1 Cabbage (sweatheart works well)
Knob of butter
Salt and Pepper
1 finely chopped onion
50 grams chopped ham OR 50 grams chopped cooked bacon
100 grams grated mature cheddar cheese
Finely shred the cabbage and carefully fry very lightly in a little butter.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add a finely chopped onion and either 50 grams chopped ham or 50 grams chopped cooked bacon to the cabbage.
Transfer to an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with 100 grams grated mature cheddar cheese.
Bake in preheated oven gas mark 5, 190c, 170 fan for 20 minutes.
